Graphic Novel, part 1/2
(Kafka - Huitula)
in the middle of the night, land surveyor K arrives to a distand small village,
where he has been hired to work for under the jurisdiction of The Castle.
However, due to certain obscurities things are not turning out exactly the way K had been expecting. The villagers seem to have their own point of views about the turn of events, but who in the mysterious castle eventually determines K's fate?
The Castle is the last of Franz Kafka's three long prose books. Its' story captrures the reader in a hypnotic way. Kristian Huitula's graphic novel adaptation brings up the absurd humor of Kafka's book in a completely new way, and turns around the common opinions and prejudice often associated with kafka's works.
